About Videostacks

Videostacks was born out of a habit for going to the local public library and searching through the shelves of movies for titles that caught my eye. Looking back, I no doubt have rented a substantial amount of more movies than books from the library and I am always happily pleased by the gems that I’ve found among the stacks. I started this blog as a resource to share my love for the cinematic medium and continue the process of enjoying moving pictures through their commentary. Filmmaking is a multi-million dollar industry, but I still believe that at its core it remains an art form and like all art it must be discussed to truly reach its full potential and impact.

My hope is that this blog is a fun and informative place to visit, which is full of subjective personal opinions to be taken with a grain of salt. I wanted a space where people could come to look for suggestions for a Friday night movie or an obscure film they might not normally have found.

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you find a film that will suit your mood and entertain you!
